A couple of basic questions for the brainiac's out there.
I have a 924 Turbo, which has not been started this century!!!! LOL it is a very low mileage example and in generally good condition.
The two problems I face are:
1. The passenger side door is locked, and I believe the mechanism may have come adrift. With the door closed it is impossible to remove the door trim, I do not have access to a tame car thief either, so any clues/suggestions on how to open the door so I can fix the mechanism would be appreciated.
2.The car has an after market alarm/imboliser system installed, which I suspect is either faulty or wrongly wired, I am not sure what make and model it is but suspect it may be a SparkRite. What would I need to do to run a temporary ignition circuit, externally of the alarm system, up to get the car fired up? or at least give it a chance?
Any suggestions to either of these would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Stu
