1988 P944s coupe front struts

Hi, I’m try to obtain a pair of replacement front struts but am not having much luck getting the correct units for my car.

I have been offered later S2 units, does anyone know if these fit and work OK?

No expert on 944 but I believe 944 struts changed in 1985 so cant see why S2 (which would be 1989+) would not work on your car..hopefully someone will confirm for you...
