1989 Porsche 944 2.7 Lux (rare spec) SOLD!

New member
For Sale due to personal circumstances is my much loved Porsche 944 2.7 Lux. In my ownership I have looked after this car with no expense spared and I can say the same for the previous owners (I am happy to explain why this is for sale to a genuine interested party - but it is purely personal and nothing to do with the car - so please understand why I havent put it here for all to see). Full and complete service history by either an OPC or independent Porsche specialists (GT One in my ownership, Andy Moss in previous ownership) with all receipts. Last service in Jan 10 with GT One at 83k.

I am sure I have missed something, so any questions please do ask. Happy for any viewings, but please bear in mind that I am not going to, nor can I afford to give this car away.

The car has had a PCGB official market valuation in April-10 of £5000

The car wants for nothing and would be perfect for someone who wants a 100% reliable car, and fantastic Porsche 944 ownership.

Many many pics available on request - and most have already been posted here:
http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=534444

I am looking for a price of £3750 or a very good offer around this mark.

To answer a question that was asked via PM. My ownership started in May/June 2009 and I had the belts done straight away due to age. Boxer Motor Works where I had them done are a German car specialist. Installiation inspection and tension check / re-tension was then carried out by GT One as the history shows as it should be. Hope that helps

To answer a question - Yes it does have ABS.. sorry - missed that off the origional - edited that now. Any picture request - or if you want a hi res one of any already taken, please email me at anthonyATantssss.co.uk Thx

Car Temporally withdrawn from sale - back up in a few weeks. Going on holiday tuesday for 2 weeks.

OK - I'm back on Thursday 19th Aug from my holidays. Car now reduced to £3700 or VERY close offer... Happy to answer all questions etc. Am located in Ashford Middlesex..

Hi, no problem, can take anything you need. anything specific? away camping at the mo, but will take tomorrow and post them here. cheers Ant

Cheers, no rush. Just looking for some pictures of the drivers/passengers seats and maybe the rear seats. Thanks

Hi, OK Interior Pics as follows. Please excuse the fact that the car is not Hoovered out, I have litrally come in and taken pics as the car gets used - so at least you get an idea of everyday condition..:

Only issues with the interior are as I described in the origional add.. Slight wear to the drivers bolster and a small rip on the drivers rear seat upper (plus standard dash cracks).. Both seats are repearable (Southbound confirmed) but something I have never done... I would guage the rest of the interior of extremelly good condition ... Hope that all helps.. Cheers Anthony

Just to answer a question asked from the PistonHeads add that may be of use here also.. Oil Preasure Guage readings - idles at 4.5 - 5 when cold, normal running conditions idles at 4 - 4.5, enthusiastic driving on a hot day idles 3.5 - 4.. When being driven its always up at 4.5 - 5. Cheers

Thx mate - appreciate your comments..[:)] Yes I too LOVE the interior, and the Air Con.... [;)]

as the MOT runs out on the 29/09 - the car is booked into GT One this Saturday for a Pre MOT inspection and MOT. so comes with 12 months MOT [:D]
