1990 944 Air Conditioning

Hi

I tried to get the air conditioning in a 1990 944 filled today but we could not find the low pressure filling point. The high pressure point is near the left hand shock mount and was easily identified. Do you know where the low pressure filling point is?

Thanks

I was going to say they are next to each other, but on looking at pics from when my carhad them they are not.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]What about down behind the driver's headlight where the receiver/drier is?[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

Hi

Thanks for your reply and help.

I have been advised the low pressure point is on the compressor. The car requires jacking up to access this point.

Cheers

Why do you need to get to this point?

I've had my A/C recharged every couple of years on my driveway by a convenient mobile guy www.airconone.co.uk and he never seems to fiddle around under the car? He was recommended by many other Porsche owners and is done within the hour
