1990 telephone dials onto a 1983?

Will a set of telephone dials from a 1990 car fit onto my 1983 please?

I dont think 1990 cars had phone dials, however the offset is different between early and late cars changing around 86. The early cars needing spacers to fit the later wheels or they disappear into the arches.
