Hello all

Recently joined as I will be taking delivery of a 1991 944T in mid June and I'd like to find some cup wheels to replace the D90s fitted. The D90s are marked fronts 7.5 and 65 wearing 225/50/16 and the rears 9 and 52 wearing 245/45/16. I'll retain the D90s for originality.

A link I found gives the following sizes for 944 S2 87-91 and 944 T 87-91:
7J x 16 52.3/55 205/55 ZR16
8J 52.3/52 225/50 ZR16
For 944 Turbo S and 944 S2 RO1 chassis:
7J x 16 65 225/50 ZR16
9J x 16 60 245/45 ZR16

These are different to mine fitted which I believe are originals and wondered if anyone could please clarify?

The link also gives the option of 17" wheels as 7.5J x 17 65 225 ZR17 and 9J x 17 55 255/40 ZR17 but I'm happy retaining 16" if I can find any cup wheels[:)]

16" cup wheels as fitted to the 968 coupe are

7x16 et 55
8x16 et 52

You could always download the parts catalogue from the Porsche website. They have pictures of all the wheels, part numbers and sizes.

Billybod,
What you need are 17" Cup 1's, but the trick is finding them ET 55 AND ET 65 rings a bell but don't quote me, the 17" looks far better IMO, i have them on mine.
Keep hold of your D90's as the wider rears are quite scarce.
You can also get hold of Fuch replicas in 17" which look the mutts but unsure about quality, oh by the way, Welcome.

Jim. Thanks for the link. I've just ordered the priced CD from Bristol OPC and it should be with me in 5 days as has to be "imported"[;)]

Frenchy. Thanks too for your input.

I'll be seeking some advice regarding a little engine tuning later this year once I've got used to the car as it will be slightly different to the 300tdi and TR6[:)]

Regards

Bill

I have a set of 17"s for sale in the for sale section, right offset for 944, negotiable on price aswell.
