1995, 993 - Sun roof sealing

At speed I can get excessive windnoise (70mph+). I was told the 'rubber' may need silicone injection or new rubber.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks

You can replace the seal - do a search on this section, someone has done this. I was going to but discovered that the sun roof is less well sealed when fully home.

I close it fully, then give one (very quick) dab of the switch in the opening direction. Less wind noise and it does not leak that way!

The problem on my car is that, in the fully home position, the front seal is too crushed and the back seal has a slight air gap at the back of it.

I guess the stop position might be adjustable but I've not looked inside the roof.
