1996, 993. 73,000 miles.

My 1996, 993 has no illumination, to rear screen heater switch. The bulb is not the problem, as it glows when "on." Does not illuminate in "off" position, when side lights are on. ( Never has.)

I don't know why I bothered with a LSD, but there is a "clunk", when moving off from rest. All the advice from my OPC is "it's nothing". Something to do with "bronze bushes."

I had a 24,000 miles service, 12 months ago. The vehicle has covered just 3,000 miles in the year; I will change oil and filters, but do I need the usual 12,000 miles service?
