1999 Carrera 4, Silver.

Hi all.

Just thought I'd tip my hat as a new 996 C4 owner in the area.
82k miles, very comprehensive service history, had 4 N-rated Pirellis, discs and pads all round and a major service in the last 750 miles/year.
Plans will be to use regularly but reasonably sparingly, remove the God-awful window tints and keep up the excellent service record.
You'll have to excuse the absolutely terrible pictures; they're all I have at the moment!

I'd like to attend a couple of gatherings with my car so I'll keep an eye out for events :)
Give me chance to get some decent pictures, at least.

Thanks, Stuart.

Hi Stuart

Welcome to the club and Porsche ownership. The 996 looks good but I agree with you about the window tints, I think it would look better without them.

Hope to see you at a local R21 event soon. How about joining us at the Breakfast Meet on 2nd April.

The previous owners seemed eminently sensible, too. God only knows why he thought they'd be a good idea...
I may well, actually. I was reading about it, but wasn't 100% whether I'd be able to make it.
Having checked, I'm free. What sort of numbers do you usually get?

Thanks, Stuart.

There are usually about 20 or more Porsches at the Breakfast Meet, the turn out is usually better if the weather is good. The long range forecast looks promising so hopefully members will be encouraged to get their cars out.
