Ive had a search for 19in wheels in the forums but cannot see any posts.

Ive seen a set of genuine Porsche 19in rims from a 997 advertised and quite fancy them. The advertiser says that they are ok for 996 narrow body BUT BUT BUT

Anyone running 19in, does it affact OPC warranty, if fitted, I would tell my insurance company to be on the safe side..

Thanks

Andy

I think its fair to say that if they can draw a link between a non-standard part and a failure, the OPC wty will be invalidated.

For example, if there was to be a drivetrain/suspension-related failure, then you might want to put the old wheels back on before taking it to the dealer...

fair call .... although OPC Cambridge have always been pretty fair ..

Is there no one out there running 19s on a 996 ?

Andy
