I was almost surprised to be told that my Gen 2 Cayman S PDK will be 2 years old in March and needs a service for which the quote was £640. Seems to be a lot, I know it is inline with the quoted service costs from Porsche but has anyone any experience of getting this price down.

I then have a decision on extended warranty, for my last Cayman I did not bother with the extended warranty but with the relatively new PDK gearbox I thought that it might be sensible to keep the warranty up. Quoted price is about £860 per annum. Any views?
