I'm not sure if this is the right place to put it, but I think I'm going to sell my 1976 2.7!
There I've said it it's out in the open!
I've had the car for nearly 10 years and spent loads on parts, New Bilsten dampers, Tuthills rebuilt the gearbox, New heater control boxes, heat exchangers, all window seals and door seals, new brakes (Calipers, discs, pads, mastercylinder and braided hoses.), new door pockets, various switchs, turbo trackrod conversion, new gear linkage.... the list goes on.
Paint's not perfect but the car is solid and kept in a heated garage, I've got a big folder of history and the car goes very well. currently sorn but I'll mot it before sale.
cheers
tim

Sorry to hear your getting rid of your 911 :( Hope the sale goes well. How about popping some pictures on.

I'm very sad to sell but I in just not using the car. I can keep it in the garage but maybe it's time to move on. I still have my 944 , Beetle plus Bay window camper to keep me busy. I'll try to add some pictures as soon as I can.

I have no firm idea of value, which is why I put it here first. But as with many things condition is in the eye of the beholder, and so to is the value!
These are defenatly getting quite rare machines now.

The car has the Bosch injection but there are receipts for cam work
Many moons ago, it has been suggest by Francis Tuthill that it may
Have S cams because of were the power kicks in but I've never had it
Apart to check this out.
It also has the carera anti roll bars, because when I changed the bushes
I got the standard ones and they were to small. The car is not officially a carera but has fuchs alloys and the correct shape early Turbo whale tale spoiler.
I will try to get a picture of it on ASAP.
Cheers
Tim
