So me and the missus want to go to Ragley Hall... but we want to take our 8 month old baby boy too.

Today we took both our cars to get a forward facing child seat - and while the wifes Skoda as no problem the 924 did cause a few scratched heads.

Problem 1. My car never had rear belts as standard, and there is a securon static 3 point belt fitted.
Problem 2. While the book seems to show that the Britx/Fisher Price Freeway will fit - it didn't. The bloke didn't seem sure if the problem was the belt or the seat.

Queston 1. Anyone got any suggestions?
Question 2. Does the 944 or 968 have inertia reel rear belts?
Question 3. If so are the rear belt anchorages the same between all 3 models and can I therefore fit them in my 924?
Question 4. What have other people done? Any suggestions for car seats?

Yes the 944 and 968 have inertia reel rear seat belts and there is a Britax seat that fits but I cant remeber if it's called the Prince or the Ranger [&:]

This whole thing is turning out to be a nightmare to be honest... I've got one more to try - and it's a recaro!!! Though why on earth it has built in stereo speakers is completely beyond me....

It fits!!!! So we bought it... it's a bit OTT to be honest but it is such a relief to have it... So I can officially state that the Recaro Start fits the back of a 924 with 3 point static belts... and the little fella can listen to his own music - which means that I don't need to listen to "row row row you boat" while I'm driving...

Hope to see you at Ragley Hall!!!!
