just a little reminder that the regions new R/O John Lord.will be holding his first official meeting tonight at The Old Royal Oak Hockley Heath from 8pm. i understand that this will be the venue for future meetings which will be on the Third Thursday of the month.
 
sorry we didn't make it to this meeting last night. the weather was awful so we didn't fancy the hours drive..

anyone else go?
 
Same as you helen the wind was rattling my fillings so i decided i would stay at home, yes i know im a wimp

Us to[:(]. as the weather was so bad, decided to leave the cover on the car, followed almost instantly by the wind ripping it off. Que much comic struggling by yours truely to keep it on.

Sorry to have missed the RO's (and our) first night, hoping to make up for it next month.
