2002 911 996 Tiptronic S Carbon Kit

Hi,

i just got the carbon fibre kit for my 996.
I have changed all parts except the centre console
and need help to remove the tiptronic gear shift so i can
remove the entire centre console.

I also need to change the mirrors, can anyone help
advise me how to do this??

Can anyone help??

Do you want to change the mirror glass/cover, or take the mirror off the door completely?

Edit: You don't need to remove the whole thing to change the glass or the front cover.
 
A quick tip - put some tape around the base of the gearshift knob before you remove it so when you refit it it sits back at the same point. I did mine, it was very easy took about 5 mins.
