The fuse blows as soon as put into the fuse box wether ignition is on or off it is the fuse 4th row down 5th fuse from the left
The doors won't unlock on the remote, .
The central locking doesn't operate via the dash switch
The window switches don't work
The front and rear trunks won't unlock via the sill switches
The front trunk won't open via the fuse panel jump point
The battery has good charge - the headlights are fully bright and the convertible top operates at normal

Any dampness/water under the passenger seat?

The faults you have are typical of a water damaged alarm module. You could try removing it, and taking the cover off to dry it out, but they are generally unsalvageable.

In theory, you could replace the alarm control unit with one from the same model, BUT you would need the Porsche IPAS immobiliser code, in order to have it programmed to the DME (engine ecu). To get IPAS codes, you or a dealer/indy need to have the VIN of the donor vehicle, and be able to show proof of ownership. Clearly, you can't do this unless you own the donor car!

The alarm module can only be programmed with an immobiliser code once, so a used module could not be programmed to your car. The only way to do it would be to exchange a matched pair of alarm module and DME, and have the keys for that pair. Bear in mind that it would be tough to get replacement keys thereafter, as you need the IPAS codes to program them.

I agree with Richard that it's worth trying to salvage the existing unit by opening it up and drying it out. This can be helped by flooding with or, better still, immersing the board in isopropyl alcohol for several minutes to flush out tracks and components. Afterwards dry it out gently with a warm hairdryer and leave it overnight in an airing cupboard before reconnecting. This method is used by data recovery and forensic IT specialists so might be worth a punt. Shame it was powered up after flooding which reduces the probability of success.
