2003 986 S Exhaust box by pass?

Dear all,
I'm looking to get my current exhaust box on my 2003 3.2S modified to have 1" bypass pipes fitted. I'm looking to get the pipe sections pre-cut and bent from H&S for a very low price, then i and a good friend who is very handy with a MIG&TIG will help me fab the pipes in. However all images i see to the web for this mod are on a back box not like my one? The 2003 S has twin pipes that are bolted to the box, all images i see it looks like the tail pipes are welded to the box? I assume these are earlier cars.
can anyone post any images of a 2003 onward 986 Boxster bypass job or give some details as to if they think they have seen this done. I have my thoughts on how to make it work but i would like to just see a few others and get some knowledge before i start cutting and welding.

Thanks
Nick
