The sale of the new Porsche Boxster is to start in December of this year. As the photo of the front shows, these are the changes: the headlights are oval and arranged, the front hood seems flatter, and the front with increased air intakes accommodates lamps. In the interior, the cockpit is made with high quality materials and more comfortable seats.

The basis model will be equipped with a 2,7 liter engine and achieves an output of 248 HP, with the Boxster S in the near future it will rise to 280 HP.

In addition to the roadster Porsche, the next Boxster model will also be available as a Coupé version with roof.

That does look reassuringly nice - with elements of the Carrera GT.

From the wheels and front valance I guess it's the 2.7.

Definitely 2.7 and I recently met a guy from PCGB who had seen finished article at the factory and he said that the new car would resemble the CGT front end more than the 997 and if I was looking for apprx 285 BHP I wouldn't be disappointed [;)][;)] Also said that the differences between a 996 and a 997 should be replicated in the differences between MK1 and MK2 Boxster..... Not long to go before we all know [8D]
