2006 Festival

Hi All,

I understand that this years festival will be held at Eynsham Hall near Oxford and that it does not have a circuit, I am very new to the Porsche scene (I dare say it show's[:)]) and really enjoyed my trip to brands last year and was looking forward to returning in 2006 but sadly this does not look like the case, surely if there is no circuit the turnout will suffer? The racing was excellent to watch and really made the day additionally enjoyable I for one vote that we go to brands again this year otherwise I fear that the turnout will be poor[:(]

Not having to traipse round the M25 down to Brands on the holiday weekend is a good thing IMO.

At least one can have a decent drive cross country in Oxon and it is slightly more central...

Also, circuits tend to be windy, cold, open places and sometimes country houses are more convivial places to meet and see cars. Agreed though it is fun to see the cars on the circuit.

Ring the changes I say.

I bet you only drive your car in the dry too with an outside temp of 20C.....
where is your sense of adventure[;)][;)][;)]

My sense of adventure does not include a busy M4/M25...

Now a Porsche Festival 2007 Isle of Man or Anglesey, now you're talking adventure! [:D]
