Only thing I can suggest is the front radiator status, at that age they may well have already been replaced, but they will possibly be corroded if not..

Clutches are lighter 997 on the Turbo and I only know people who have had them replaced due to issues at an early age- and under warranty...
I'd suggest you take a look through the warranty thread on the 997 members area to see how little trouble the Turbo's have given, sure there's been a few issues but nothing I could say to seriously look out for.. [&:]

My 06 Turbo used daily heading toward 37K has not missed a beat same clutch and no isssues of any kind. Now am touching wood [:)]

Thinking of selling mine, its a black on black 57 plate car with loads of extras such as sports chrono, tip, small carbon pack, 18000 miles on, new radiators replaced under warranty, just had new discs fitted and warranty extended, so thats got 11 months to run. Amazing car but am thinking about ordering a new gen 2 as was testing it yesterday at Silverstone. Might be worth a thought.

i got it omg what a car,i got there and the car looked awesome it even had more extras than the bloke knew about, just checked the coolant level after my 250 mile trip home and its a bit low so i topped it up i will keep you posted do these things loose water ? or does the level just move about with temperature of the engine?

Congratulations Nick [:)]

My car went in for a free OPC check and they spotted the water level was slightly low....
Yep! radiators...

Otherwise No they don't use water but the level does change slightly in the expansion tank.
