After 6.5 years of ownership of this amazing car the time has come to sell and buy something with more than two seats!

I'll be doing the listing for this in the Members Cars for Sale very shortly where I'll upload more photos

Some pics below to get the thread started and I'll add specs etc below.

Everyone has differing opinions of what things are worth in the current market
Looking for around £13,500

Porsche Boxster 987.1 – 2007 ‘07’ plate

Full Service History

68,291 miles

Meteor Grey metallic

Carrera S factory upgraded 19” Alloy wheels

Carnewal Sports exhaust - modified Genuine Porsche exhaust silencers.

Very good condition, difficult to find one as good as this in my opinion.

Exterior paint work is excellent

Bodywork is superb. No door dings. All original paint.

Interior is superb, almost like new.

No wear or scratches to seat bolsters or any of the leather.

Still smells like new.

3 previous owners.

I bought this from an enthusiast who was upgrading to a brand new 718 at the time.

He bought the car from his dad two years before – all confirmed in the service history.

I’ve owned this for 6.5 years and the car has wanted for nothing.

Anything it has needed has been done.

Car is always garaged, generally used in dry weather only!

Only done just over 700 miles in the last year.

Full Service History

Porsche Centre Colchester 2009, 2011, 2013

Porsche Centre Nottingham 2015, 2017, 2019

Cavendish Porsche Nottingham 2021, 2023

2019 service included all spark plugs and water pump and drive belt at 63,000 miles

2021 service included all 6 ignition coils and precautionary replacement of the coolant crossover pipes at 65,000 miles (which is a common failure at this sort of age)

Brand new battery fitted November 2022, the previous one had lasted nearly 7 years, so I bought exactly the same Bosch S4 which comes with a 5yr guarantee.

Car is kept connected to a CTEK MXS 5.0 trickle charger

Brake fluid has been replaced every two years as per the service requirements and the service book is fully stamped.

Service history is complete and I have all the original invoices

MOT has just been done ready for sale with no advisories and expires Sept 2024.

The car has passed every MOT it has had.

A/C works perfectly, car had two brand new condensers when I bought it as they are susceptible to stone strikes through the front air intakes.

As soon as I had these replaced I fitted Zunsport black powdercoated mesh grilles inside the intakes to protect them in the future.

Car has just had a A/C service and been re-gassed.

Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tyres fitted all round.

All tyres have good even tread all round and the alloy wheels are all in very good condition.

These have been removed and cleaned several times and protected with Polish Angel Supersport.

Paintwork is protected with Polish Angel Master Sealant.

Convertible roof is in very good condition and has been cleaned and protected with 303 Fabric Guard to give additional waterproofing.

Factory fitted optional extras:

Almost £7k of extras fitted

PCM with Sat Nav

Heated Seats

Carrera S 19” Alloy wheels

Sound Package Plus

Wind deflector (clear removeable screen, between headrests of seats)

Automatic Climate Control

Storage box

Partial Leather Seats

Outer door entry guards in stainless steel

Rear centre console in aluminium look finish

Seat belts in silver grey

Car needs to be seen to be appreciated

£13,500 ono

Hi James

Will be good to have some more interest at the 'affordable' end of the listings,

alongside mine [:)]

Good luck with yours

Richard

Thanks Richard

Same applies, good luck at the 'affordable' end [:)]

Had a couple of interested people already - one needs to sell their car first and the other was at the other end of the country.

No rush to sell, but I'd listen to offers because it won't get used much in the winter months anyway so it might as well go and I'll put the money in the bank.

That being said I've seen something and I'm going to have a look at a car this weekend so things may change up a bit [8D]

Car sold this morning through the PCGB Car Sales platform [8D]

Deal agreed after a test drive and paid and taken straight away.

Nice transaction - I got what I wanted, and the new owner got a deal too. Both parties happy [:)]

Will miss that car a lot.

Great first Porsche, and I intend staying in the club [;)]
