The time has come where I have to part company with my first Porsche, a 2008 silver Boxster 2.7 987 Sport Edition.
Having spent a long time looking for the right car, I chose this car over the S models that were also available at the time because I preferred its looks, being that it is the Sport Edition it has a different body kit combined with the extra equipment and features that it came with. I was also attracted to this particular car given that it came with a low mileage and full service history together with the reassurance that I was buying it from my local Porsche Centre, (Wilmslow, Cheshire) who knew the car well.
The car which has had three former keepers was registered on the 22nd January 2008 and I purchased it from the Porsche Centre in Wilmslow on the 31st October 2015. It has an MOT until 27 October 2015 which I shall update in the next couple of weeks. The Porsche Centre in Wilmslow installed the Cruise Control system for me on the 14th December 2015 and the car had a major service at the Porsche Centre in Wilmslow on the 24th March 2016 at 34,043 miles. Following which one of the condenser radiators and the piping were replaced under the warranty, giving a purchaser more peace of mind.
One of the advantages that comes with this car is that it has the benefit of a transferable Porsche Approved Warranty which runs until the 27th October 2017. The car is in excellent condition and is very enjoyable to drive, you certainly get a lot of smiles to the gallon!
