2009 987.2, 2.9: What is needed for next Service?

My 987.2 is running 100% beautifully and is at nearly 55K miles now.
Trouble is, the Service schedule is all over the place and I need some help clarifying what I need to do at 60K miles.
The service will be done at Zuffenhaus.

History so far:
40k Service at PCT: 9 2 17
Int Maint service
Maintenance Service
Plugs changed
Drive belt replaced
Brake fluid change
48k at Zuffenhaus: 14 8 18
Int maint only, oil and filter.
60K Immanent service: due around Nov 19
Int Service
Maintenance Service
Particle filter
Visuals as defined in the Porsche Service book, pages 11 & 13

Are my assumptions right for the 60K service looming? If not, what is correct??
Thank you, Graham.

You could simply ask Zuffenhaus for an itemised quote and compare that to your service handbook.

If want a good guide then look at RPM Technik fixed price servicing, I found that as a good guide. However I took my car over to Bee Cool Performance in Kettering as they do Porsche Specialist Servicing and I know the owner so he did mine. He did the following to mine last week as mine just rolled over the 60K

Oil filter
Oil (Rock Oil)
Pollen Filter
Brake Fluid
PDK Clutch Fluid - This wasn't listed but did it as a favour
Spark plugs
Air Filter
Airbag Safety Check
Polyrib belt
General Inspection
Full Electric Diagnostics

(That's what's listed on the site)

He also topped up the power steering fluid and re-gassed my aircon

Thank you both, looks like I'm on the right track.
I do not like the long oil change periods on these cars, and also question the other items at times, but with the schedule out of sync keen to get it straight.
I'll ask the same of Zuffenhaus closer to the time, about Nov latest when 60K will be close.

Graham,

Since the plugs and poly-belt have been replaced in the last 20k miles/2-years or so I would think that your planned November service is about right, although you might want to include the air filter unless there's a record of it being replaced more recently (the requirement is 60k miles/6-years). The 2-year brake fluid change is also required.

I'm sure Zuffenhaus will be able to advise you about any additional work necessary when they inspect the car.

Re. RPM`s schedule for my 981 CS ... plugs are changed at 60k whereas with Porsche it is at 40k ... thoughts ?

Also re. Porsche schedule Replacement of pollen filter and air intake pre-filter every 20k, what is the air intake pre-filter given that the primary air filters are replaced at 60k ?

Thank you.

FWIW - mine is a 2011 2.9 PDK - its just on 50K miles and is "halfway" between services - my schedule was also "unknown" so I got the following done at local OPC to "catch up" - sounds like yours is covered for most of this (or not relevant for manual)

BELT
PLUGS
PDK CLUTCH FLUID
ENGINE AIR FILTER
AIR BAG CHECK

Paid just over £600 for that - breakdown was a little odd since they did a bundle - but airbag check was £45 (for that I can't imagine they did more than a diag pass and a stamp in the book), PDK Clutch fluid £225

They recommended brake fluid but I had already had that done at purchase a year ago. That got me up to "spec" for time (6yr) items - from your post looks like air filter, air bag check if you want the "stamp" and brake fluid.

Thank you.
I'm not bothered about OPC stamps now, the miles and the 3!0 tops value mean it will carry on with reputable Independents that anyone can check-up on if they wish.

My 2014 big Skoda does not have an airbag check in the schedule, so why does Porsche?
Mind you, my 2014 Skoda Superb has done the same miles as the Boxster and has never gone wrong, just service, wipers and rear brake pads, where as the Boxster has needed much more at a FAR greater cost.
