2009 987.2 headlamp adjust for Europe?

In the recent years I have not bothered to remove the lamps and move the lever to 'T' on my car which has the Bi Xenon/ PDLS option (#603 code).
I have simply applied the aftermarket sticky covers to deflect the beam for LHD while waiting for the Chunnel call.

Never had a problem except removing the last stickers in Nov last year has left a 'chemical' mark on the plastic lenses.

With these headlamps do I need to convert the lamps to T?
I really do not fancy doing this in the Chunnel car park.

Thanks for any practical advice,
Graham.

Just studied my handbook, and it shows the Bi Xenon lights need the lever to be moved from O to T, but there is no mention of the PDLS anywhere.

As you suggest, maybe a lights-on at night to see what happens from dipped to mains, do the lights shift down to the curb from mains. If not and they simply dip then that will be the same when on a French road.

Good thing about the sticky discs are it shows the lamp has been corrected. Imagine a rough French police man demanding to see the lamp lever position! (almost joking).

Last time I removed the lamps was to do the A/C rad replacements, and the small die cast socket split wide open at first the mechanism was not ready to move that time.

Proper 1/4" drive set worked.
