2011 C4S Condensers

Hi Chaps!

Have been advised by my OPC in Solihull that I have a leaky n/s condenser (stone damage) I'm based in Redditch so after some googling last night I found a specialist very close to me called 'Pro-9'. Does anyone have any dealing with these guys? They submitted a very competitive quote to replace both condensers and re-gas - roughly half the price of Solihull. I work in West Brom so Ramus Porsche would be convenient too. Any reviews for Pro-9 and Ramus?

Thanks in advance,

Darren

If your vehicle is covered by Porsche extended warranty, you will need to make sure the Indy is fitting Porsche approved parts.
Regards,

Clive

Replacing the condensers is a job an even halfway competent mechanic can do, and even a lot of DIYers do it with no problems. Like Clive said, long as the parts used are OK with Porsche, you get the work done anywhere. And yes - fit grilles!

The junk in my rads even after careful cleaning with bumper on.

Thanks Guys! Very helpful indeed, didn't expect that many replies :)
I do have an active extended warranty although I am running an x-pipe, lowering springs and fatter spacers. Fingers crossed I have never had a warranty claim denied although the claims I have had did not relate to my 'mods'. I will check with Pro-9 to see if they use OE parts and will ask them to fit the protector grills.

All the best!

this link should get you to them. You will have import duty to pay...

Thanks both. Pro-9 have confirmed they will be using OE components and will fit the mesh kit if I supply it. Will get it booked in before the weather warms up and once I have paid for my front discs and pads and wheel painting at POC Solihull!

Really appreciate all your help.

Wow you are lucky your OPC is so tolerant have heard horror stories about OPCs being very strict. Even the grills you talk about or wired in dash cams have been the subject of a number of discussions where certain OPCs refused to renew warranty, your renewal with all those adds sounds like a mini miracle!

Hi Ian,
Just to clarify for you. My car was standard when purchased last June with the extended warranty. Mods were fitted afterwards but I have had warranty work carried out since without question. However I can't imagine passing the 111 point check when it comes up for renewal the year after next.
