...almost complete.

A great year with you guys, thanks for making me a member of the Club. And a big thanks for the positive comments on Johnny Tipler´s article in 911 & PW about my car also. Def a year to remember, thanks Des for being my host while travelling from east to west and back this year in England.

It was fun and I hope to see you again in 2012, let´s make it to Essen in spring. I guarantee beer and Bratwurst. Greets to everybody, especially to those I met in Stuttgart, London, Castle Combe and in Cirencester.

Rgds,

Hacki

P.S.: And, of course, greetings to George.

2011 was certainly a good year for 964RS owners who got involved in the various events. Oulton was a very cold start to the year but a good turn-out despite the weather.

Memories of Clastres and the French road trip (thanks Martin & Saz for all the hard work).

Also the 50th weekend Castle Combe event, Silverstone and Cirencester on Sunday, and then spending the (entire) day at Haynes museum with our continental contingent talking cars, telling stories and eating good old British canteen food.

The Silverstone GT/RS meet was a nice opportunity to catch up again at the Porsche Centre and also enjoyed the invitation to join in with Bentley Clubs celebrations over at the track (PCGB could learn a thing or two from the Bentley Club's experience).

And finally watching Mel peddling Cuppie up the Prescott Hill in the PCGB Speed Championship. Seems a great way to get into affordable competitive motorsport without the usual associated egos and with an enthusiastic bunch of blokes.

Hacki, I hope you enjoyed your first year as a member and trust you'll renew when the time comes - if anything you'll be able to keep count of the photos of Mel's car in each new issue of Porsche Post.

Happy New Year chaps. Here's to more 20th Anniversary get togethers in 2012...

2011 was the year when Des's predictions about the price of a leichhtbau came to pass and he exited the market with a bang ( or should that be a bling .... [;)] ) with the homage car to Easyjet. Now I have to visit other fora to read the words of the Prophet.

Hopefully we will continue to see your RSses at trackdays , its boring to just see GT3's.

Not much chance of seeing the original leichtbau icon , the 2.7RS outside of an auction house [:(]

Cheers to you Hacki !.....am stockpiling Euros for Spa so tell Mrs Merkel to keep things safe.

Yes a very good year --- tho' expensive on the attempt at racing front --- with an engine self destruct in the 968 at Silverstone [&:]

2012 will shortly be to make [:D]

So I hope that for us all, it's a good-'un !

Are you guys set to repeat the Racing fun in 2012? Same format or something different.

I'm going to drop out this year --- I think that my wallet is going to be dedicated to not racing the GT3R this year [;)]

Thanks Paul [;)]

How's your livery looking for this year [:)] ?

2012 should be a very good year [:)][:)]

Wow! Looks great Chris, really good.

I'm set to do first 1/2 of jedi championship again, plus a bit of caterhams with CSCC. Still hoping to drive a SWB 2.0 911 in the 4hr summer classic at Spa too. Not sure past June though......
