Saturday 2nd December 2017

If you are new to PCGB, this is a wonderful way to get to know your fellow members - for established members, it’s a great time to meet up with old friends and make new ones.

This Christmas, we’ll again be joining our colleagues at 991 and 997 Registers for the celebrations and then, on Sunday, we’ll head over to Cornbury House for the Club Christmas Open Day. So a pleasant weekend and great start to the season’s festivities. The new venue chosen last year was a resounding success and a great time was had by all. The hotel offers excellent facilities and a great location and we’re delighted to have secured the same venue and at the same concessionary rates as last year for members and guests.

[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Wroxall Abbey Hotel and Estate is an award winning 4* Hotel dating back to the 12th Century. It was once the country seat of Sir Christopher Wren. Wroxall Abbey is not only a beautiful luxury hotel in Warwickshire, but one of the most historic, set in 27 acres of unspoilt parkland and gardens.

The hotel facilities include a spa and swimming pool. You can take a look at the website http://www.wroxall.com/ and there's YouTube video here.

Members and guests will enjoy:-

  • Arrival Cocktail
  • 3 course dinner + complimentaries
  • Private room and bar
  • Dedicated front-of-house members’ parking
  • Luxury room at hotel with Spa and pool facilities

You can extend your stay and make weekend of it (many book in on Friday evening too) at the special rate of £95 B&B (singles £75).[FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"][FONT=verdana, geneva"]Last year, the food was excellent and members will be able to choose from the 3 course Festive menu with coffee and petit fours provided. This will be available from November.

There’s a real incentive to book early too to secure your place in one of the best rooms in the Mansion House. Later the choices will become more restricted. Reservations are open now and all you need to do is email me lancerlot@hotmail.co.uk for the dedicated contact arrangements and booking codes to secure your place. A £50 deposit becomes payable at time of booking. At the time of posting, we are already 50% full!

Always an enjoyable end-of-season get-together and, as I said earlier, we will be visiting Club HQ, Cornbury House Moreton-in-Marsh on Sunday morning to join in with the Christmas Open Day to enjoy a bit of PCGB hospitality and retail therapy in the Club shop.[FONT=verdana, geneva"][FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"][FONT=verdana, geneva"]You can keep up with all the latest information here or go to https://www.porscheclubgb.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=957570&high=2017 to see who’s coming
