2023 Mumbai Lounge Shiptonthorpe, Curry evening, 6th October 6.30 for 7pm

We have arranged a return to the Mumbai Lounge in Shiptonthorpe, our third visit to this establishment, the date is Friday 6th October, meeting from 6.30pm for 7pm dining.

The meal will be similar to our last visit, a starter selection per guest, then a selection of main dishes served 'banquet style' i.e. the four different dishes listed are served for every four people in the group, with side dishes, rice & naan bread served as accompaniment, last time we struggled to eat the generous portions.

For vegetarian diners in the group, they will offer non-meat alternatives if you let us know numbers beforehand. Likewise if anyone has other special dietary requirements.

They can also 'tone up or down' the level of spicing if the balance of the dishes below is not quite right for the group.

Set Menu - GBP 26.90 per head
- Papadums and Pickle Tray
- Starter - per person - Mix Starter (consists of Chicken Tikka, Sheek Kebab, Lamb Tikka and Baari Combi)
- Main Dishes - per four people - Balti Butter Chicken (mild); Jaley Piaza (hot taste); Chicken Tikka Massalla (mild); Shalimar Kharni (medium)
- Side Dishes - per four people - Sag Paneer (Spinach and home made cheese); Mumbai Aloo
- Selection of Rice and Naans

We have not been asked for a deposit but will obviously amend the details if that is required. Thank you all for attending another R7 Curry Evening, this Friday the staff seemed very relaxed and didn't need to clear our table for another booking which was great. There was also considerably more elbow space which made the experience much nicer.
