Weather is looking fair for our picnic, we will leave Croft Street car park (Google Map Co-ordinates 54.713374, -1.750519) in Crook at 6:30pm.

Dear R3 Members, we will again be enjoying the setting sun from Hartside (Cafe) Car Park on Saturday 24th June. Please bring your own picnic and refreshments, warm clothing and blankets (it does get very cold as the sun goes down).

We plan to be at the Car Park from approximately 7:30pm (the sun sets after 9:30pm) and depart once the sun has set.

No need to confirm attendance for this event, please keep an eye on this thread as there will be updates in the event of expected inclement weather (on Friday night 23 June), and possibly a meeting time and point if you wish to join a group for the drive through Weardale to Hartside.

Hope to see you there, best regards - Philip & Jacquie

Can’t make this, or the fish and chips run due to diary clashes. Most frustrating! Hope you enjoy both.

Not able to make this as I will be travelling! Will keep an eye out for other events!

This is a great run and a lovely experience - must remember to fill the tank for the multiple runs to Melmerby and back . . Nearly ran out on way home last year.

Lovely night, we'll be there. . .where are we meeting up?
