January Monthly Meeting at Garstang Golf Club on Wednesday 20th will have Rachel Haslam giving a talk on her gruelling trip to Borneo with a small team to help raise funds for Rosemere Cancer Foundation, a Charity based at Royal Preston Hospital. The trip involved extensive cycling and trecking through dense forest. Rosemere has helped several of our members from throughout the region over recent years.

The evening starts at 20.00 hours with a few words from me followed by Rachel. We will also be having our usual raffle and several members have donated special prizes. The raffle proceeds will be donated to Rosemere. Free sandwiches are provided at about 21.00 hours.

If you are a new member, or have been a member for some time and not been to one of our monthly meetings you will be made most welcome.

Usually we have around 40 members regularly attending monthly meetings at Garstang Golf Club. We are a very friendly region and you will be made most welcome. Wives and partners are particularly welcome.

The latest events calendar which will give you an idea of how active a region we are will be e-mailed out shortly.
There are still some events to organise yet, which will be added in due course, once they have been finalised. These include a trip to the James Bond Museum at Keswick and lunch, and our annual concours.

I, and the regional organising team, look forward to meeting you on the Wednesday 20th January.
