Ok, I'll bring my car and join in the line up but does that mean I have to polish it properly?

At least we have plenty of warning & I'll have to take buffin lessons from Sharon X

( I only posted a comment really cos I had the "Use it or loose it" thret which, as a woman, I have always taken very seriously.)

Right then about time I came along again !

Great to the event has continued since that 1st evening back in 2005...... was it that long !

Great work, will be good to catch you on the quay crab fishing again,

I understand we have over 50 booked now, so well on the way to magical 100+ Porsches on Poole Quay.

I'll have a space.. i just need to buy a 944 first. Still plenty of time yet!

Anyone know any nice late 944's locally that might be on the market.

I take it you have asked the quesion on the 944 forum? Eitherway, you can come along to Poole Quay, or any of the Dorset Region meetings before you own a Porsche. A very good way of finding out what is about locally.

Ah, should have pointed out that if you don't come along in a Porsche to Poole Quay, you'll have to park up outside an walk in, but it will still be well worth the trip... especially all the way from Poole[&:]
 
[:D] The weather might have warmed up by May, so a walk to the quay won't hurt.

Will probably have to quench the need to get a car by then though.

I've asked on the 944 forum and there are a few interesting cars about at the moment. I want to make sure i get a good one so not rushing in.. the costs of getting it wrong look scary.

plus i keep getting tempted by cars (911's) outside my price range

One way or another i'll come down.

Just to remind everybody, IT'S TONIGHT. Come along and enjoy the atmosphere. We are hoping for the magic 100 Porsche's attending, so join in. The weather forecast is also very favourable.[:)]
 
Well, we got close to the target. 98 Porsche's attended! (official Poole tourism count)[:)] Many thanks to all those who turned up and to those who tried but were prevented by road traffic accidents. A crash on the M3 put paid to one group from east London from making it and another more local accident at Ferndown slowed a few more entries.[:(] Without the RTA's we would have reached the target, ah well, there's always next year.[:D]
 
Geoff where was everybody last night?I mentioned it to a friend who also had a friend playing in the Band at the Harbour but he said there was not a porsche in sight ? ? ?
 
Very spooky. Especially when all the available parking spaces were occupied and we had to overflow onto the access road by the old lifeboat station!
Hopefully Nick will post a link to our regions events site with lots of pics here soon.
 
Thanks guys for the invite, it was a great view to see and well worth the drive form swindon, if im invited next year i will make sure i make a day of it...[:)]
