24 Heures du Mans @ OPC Reading

Dear All,


Have you received your Porsche Post? So, May be you've read Jeff's Article... on this Fantastic Event...


On Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th Porsche Centre Reading will organise a Very Special Event around the very well known 24 Heures du Mans...


Lots of Activities:

* The race will be televised on a very wide screen (from Sky/ Eurosport)...

* French themed food and drink will be provided for the duration of the event (baguettes, pains au chocolat, French Meals, wines, beers, cheese, and much more...) [:)]

* Prizes, including Silverstone race training will be presented for various competitions including forecasting the winner of the GT class and forecasting the number of kilometres covered by the race winning car... [8D]

* Other "motorsport" activities will be available (if you come you'll see, if not you won't...)...

* Cars on display will include 2.7 RS, 935, 917, 956, various other 911,s...

* And much more...


If you fancy it you'll be able to stay over the weekend (toilets, showers, inflatable mattresses provided)...


You can have your car checked by a Porsche-trained Mechanic and receive a written report... Free of charge. BTW, you must book for this service! Tel # 01189 303 911


This event demonstrate, if needed, the OPC Reading's commitment to our Club!


Feel free to come! For 1 hour, 2 hours, 10 hours or for the whole weekend!


It would be great to receive some feedback = @ Porsche Centre Reading they need to know how many enthusiasts will come... just to order the appropriate amount of food and drinks!!!

Sounds realy cool.

Will try to get there for the Sunday - I don't think they would be ready for the joys of my little one for a whole weekend. [;)].

Top marks for Reading OPC for comming up with another big event. I wish them well with it and hope that it proves appropriately commercialy beneficial.
 
That would be alright as long as you don't bring along the TURBOT afterburner with you! Come on Johnno, where's them pics? It could be about the only one I might get of the car actually running, its been on off on the road for niggling little things so much lately. I did manage to fit my Turbo spats that I bought at the autojumble. Have you got that low presure turbo piped up? He-He!
