Back from the LeMans trip and all I can say is thank you R20.

You are all very splendid and helped Dave, Colin, Andy and myself have a very pleasant time.

I only hope we didnt crush your style too much!

I also hope that your convoy home passed with incident?

Colin (in his 944 turbo) and I got split up at a toll on the way back and I ended up on the road to LeHarve.

The roads were dead empty and I managed a 156 run for a while.

This was a good job as when I re-joined the road (A26 I think) I saw the French police and the massive amount of back up that they had waiting for us brits.

As it happened, I knew this would be the case on the main route back and I was only doing 80 at this time, so I passed without incident.

I have attached a photo that we took on Sunday night after we had dinner in Arnarge.

For any of you that didnt 'drive the circuit' on the afternoon after the race, this is something I would highly recommend. It is weird driving the road at 70, knowing that only a few hours earlier, cars were travelling at over 200 on the same stretch.

Thanks for the BBQ and allowing us to gate crash your party!

Hope to see you all again at some point.

Regards

Dillon Callum

Hi Dillon,
We had a good trip back and only got split up right towards the end at the last toll but we managed to re-group for the tunnel. No major incidences but it took forever to find a breakfast place in the morning as we took the side roads. It was worth the find though as we got served croissants straight from the oven.[8D]

It was a pleasure to having you, Dave, Colin and Andy at the R20 Le Mans camp. Please drop me an email at the r20 email address so I can add you and everyone else to the region mailing list. See if you can make Fatboys Diner this Saturday for an American Burger lunch.

Kind regards,
Kish
