It was rallycrossing when i looked.[:D] It's a 964RS according to the adac website (run by a team of wolfgang von trips fans i think ?) . www.adac.24h-rennen.de DSF is viewable from astra 1a1b1c at 19degrees east . You can get it by moving your sky dish to that point and manually tuning. Not easy if your dish is up on the roof i know. What i did last year was use the radio lemans english language commentry with the dsf pictures. I think audi may also have the race via streaming. ADAC may also have a live stream but not up yet ? Decided not to go as it's a long way on my own. Though have almost succumed to going last minute a couple of times today.[:(]

Here's the important channel info DSF. Astra 19East. 12480, V, 27500, 3/4 . .

And it's a different language to me --- even though I used to be into Amateur Radio and bounced signals off the moon !

It´s so easy... even kids speak that language over here[:D]

Chris i assume you mean the satellite tuning ? It's easy! even easier if you buy a signal meter from maplins or get a Horizon- Horizon mount and motorize the dish. The manual tuning of the digibox is straightforward too.

Looks like it was a german contingent in the 964RS then. I see there are a few well know 964RS/cup drivers from the early 90s in the top 10. Still plugging around arent they?

Would love to be brave enough to put mine in one day. We are racing there in Aug with the Caterham, with the intention of getting the feel, if we like it I could see a return in 2 hour race as part of gentle championship.

been closely following the race but did not find out till afterwards that the rules had been "massaged" this year . Audi being a heavy sponsor of the event seemed to have the rules heavily stacked in their favor ! It almost worked too! Not able to translate the the German commentary but I understand from another forum that Manthey , when asked about the Audi onslaught looked straight at the camera and sent greetings to Ingolstadt and said that success is not gained by money alone or something similar [:D]
