from a recent Rolling road session at Weltmeister, was kind of hoping to get more horses and the torque was somewhat of a surprise.....
so with 105k on the clock, running on superleaded as required the bhp loss is about right after a decade at the crease...
as for the ECU, last year I took it to AmD for a remap but they couldn't do it because on closer inspection the operator reported that it had been scanned (known to me, done by the previous owner) but the bhp figures they reported then suggested a remap hadn't been done, however as it had already been scanned it could not be undone, so I would need a new ECU in order to put in a new programme......
assuming I've got the OEM correct ? Still not metric so no Nm's just yet !
BHP : OEM Spec is 285 bhp @ 6100 rpm but I have 276 BHP @ 5300 RPM (3% down on OEM)
TORQUE : OEM Spec is 251 lbs/ft @ 5000 rpm and now I have 285 LBS/FT @ 4700 RPM (13.5% UP on OEM !)
so I'm quite pleased, at least that helps that heavy piece of glass on top !
but where has it all come from ?
data as attached....
