2nd Gear Prob?

Please, help...

My 993 has now "jumped" out of 2nd gear twice. Once at slow speed in car park and once decelerating towards roundabout on this occasion I didnt notice and imagine my surprise as I attempted to "gun" it for the small gap in the traffic on the roundabout. The car is covered by a full warranty so I am looking for info so I dont get fobbed off even though the garage have been pretty to date.

Hi don't get fobbed of with just some adjustments...I had what sounded like the same and outcome was a gearbox rebuild with new 1st&2nd sliding gear and 1st and 2nd synchro rings. This is at 68000 miles. Very good job done by JZ Machtech, might be worth a chat with them. Alan
