I have a question regarding my second service and no, it' s not a Wimbledon question.
I have read elsewhere on the forum that there is no PCGB discount at Porsche Reading (AKA AFN) on servicing so it' s time to shop around. Would anyone recommend Dick Lovett in Swindon for a better deal ? I know they are an OPC so there' s no issue regarding service history when I come to sell on my pride and joy. I heard some time back that they throw in a voucher for a local leisure centre so you can swim and gym while they service your car.
In spite of having 12000 punters in the club, discounts on servicing are going to be tricky in that if you want a OPC stamped service book, there' s nowhere you can go other than the OPC network who have (I guess) standardised prices. Competition only works where you have a real alternative i.e. the same value of product so pricing becomes a marketing tool. [>:]
