2nd set of wheels

Can anyone recommend the route to go for a second set of wheels. No I cant stretch to another set of Cup 1 Mags at 4K plus VAT!

I like the cup ones but there are loads of aftermarket ones around with differring ETs.

I believe I need ET 55 front and rear.

Question is can you risk spacers? Are the Mille Miglia Cups any good?

Lots have ET70 rears which I assume cannot be fixed by spacers?

I have PZero Cs to go on them so need to stick with 17"

What does everyone else do? Run one set of tyres or one for road and one for track?

17'S ARE FINE AND THE RUBBER IS CHEAPER. BUT THOSE P0C'S WILL BE ANCIENT NOW -HIGH TIME FOR A REPLACEMENT!

I think I'm right in saying that ET70 could be fixed using a 15mm spacer to bring it back to 55.

same dilemma - ended up getting the mille miglia 17" cups - mine have a spacer ont he rear and look great.

...although i must say i've noticed the weight difference in the handling [8D] (joke)

got them from mws(?) in blackpool - best price and service of all the ones i called from the mags/internet

Thanks for the replies. Set of copies are £500 with correct ET so unless I can grap a good set of OE Cup 1s this is the way I will go.

The car has PZeros on now and the nearly slick pair are the Corsas I think. Will get some pilot cups for next year.

Can't wait to get my hands on the RS. Still trying to sell my Carrera :O(

At 500 I'd go for it, as good used Cup 1's demand more than this!!

I was only looking for crap ones as the wheels are on and off all the time and found a set with just legal S02's for 250 in PP a while ago.
