3.2 - 16" wheel widths...

Can anyone tell me if the 16" Fuchs used on the late 3'2s varied in width/offset at all as standard say, between '87 & '89? What width would they be on my stock '89? Ta....

I think the standard fit on SE models was 6s&7s, changing to 6s&8s for the 89MY.

However, quite a few people seem to run 7s&8s or 9s.

So, if a set of wheels are 6" & 8" x 16", could there be any question over the offset? Looking at pics it's hard to tell but, my mind is saying that the ones i'm looking at look narrower in the rim...could just be the angle - I may have to check part numbers...

Hope this helps, as stated above, standard fitment is 6 & 7, the most popular upgrade is to 7 & 9's (fills the arches!)
If you do a search on the 3.2 forum, there is at least two detailed treads on this topic

I've got my part numbers and they tie up. Thanks! But why the two different part numbers for the same size wheels - the top two numbers on the above list, for instance?

Not sure exactly, I think it may have something to do with the fact that during the SC years these were avalaible as options, whilst in the 3.2 years they were both standard and/or optional fittings.
