3.2 CS to LeMans

Are there any other 3.2 Clubsports making the pilgrimage to Le Mans this year, or any other 3.2s for that matter ?

Not sure if I shall be spending my time watching Porsche thrashing the coke burning Audis or England beating Germany in the World Cup !

3.2 Targa Staying at La Fleche in camping luxury (compared to the circuit). Done that for 10 years and hot. free showers and a pool is more attractive now!

911 'Club Sports' are pretty rare, but look stunning in a group[8D].

Ask the RSs, Steve Darnell or Alan Cordrey, to circulate a note to other owners.

Andy - I stay at a very comfy campsite, approx 10 miles down the road. Nice pool, showers and very near a great pub. If you're at the PCGB site I will be sure to look you up. Hopefully I can take you up on your offer of seeing your new GT3 in action before then though !.........

I'll be there with my 3.2 and a brace of SC's. Going the long way round via Germany, Switzerland, South of France and then up to Le-Mans via the Milau bridge[8D]

Exmouth Poole Cherbourg Le Mans . But possible detours to shoe shops which could add considerably to the mileage , as bringing the good lady. Think I mentioned the PCGB camp site to her, or was it only that accomodation was organised by the club.

Not quite a CS, but wife and I travelling down on the Thursday, 06.58 Tunnel crossing, in our lightweight Carrera, staying for the full week after as well.
Camping with PCGB at the Porsche Curves.
Can't wait !!!

My 3.2's going again this year. We stay at Chatuex Canteloup about 6mile north of the circuit. Another place with free showers, pool and great food. I'm in convoy with a Z3, 964, Range Rover and Mk1 Golf with a 16v. I'm guessing we won't all arrive together though......

Hi Antony / J.Hill,

What are the rates like at the places you are staying/camping, i'm going over to the classic lemans, am trying to find somewhere like a campanile/ibis ? to stay at but no success as yet, all fully booked, do you have any contact details.

Many thanks.

Nick.

My 88 3.2 cabriolet is going. Also 964 targa, 996 Turbo, 997S and BMW M5. Guess I may be a little behind these guys but not to far.

I have a couple of tickets going for the PCGB campsite if anybody interested as my brother ( Nissan Skyline 480BHP) has had to cancel. ( thank god, don't think I could stand looking at a skyline all weekend) See club events page for details.

See you all there.

Nick,

You also might want to try lachartre.com - click on the camping icon. Excellent site and, for a tent, only a few pounds a day. They also have bungalows available.
