Serious buyer with money eating away at the inside of my trousers, looking for a late 3.2 coupe, 1988 onwards would prefer Marine Blue, Baltic Blue or Silver with red or linen interior in Sports or Supersports mode, although i could be tempted by any really clean example with a good history i have budgeted 15,000 give or take a penny or two. I am based in Andover Hampshire but will travel for the right car, please email pictures of potential cars to mrpjrussell@tesco.net or for a quick chat 07789 755375. Any comments on budget or possible leads would great.

Thanks SP have seen this, budget possible, just not sold on a black one, thanks for the nod though. Keep them coming, somebody emailed me a picture of a nice Marine Blue one but left no details could u get in touch again. Thanks Paul.

Did you see the one on Autotrader, Marine blue etc etc £12995 region. ( Glad you don't want a Black one....I Do )

Good luck and if you see anything Black for £12k please let me know.

Thanks Bronco, yes i did looks a very nice car, unfortunatley its 170 miles away and i had 3 lined up for this weekend, have seen them all now with no joy, my main priority is to find an unmolested one as i run my own auto bodyshop and plan to fully restore it regardless. good luck with your search and i will keep an eye open for a black one, thanks also to Andrew who emailed me details of nice sounding Targa but this time its a coupe for me.

I bought the one on the trader for £12k.
And I recon I stole it at that money!
Luckly it was only 30 miles from here and better stil the guy worked 3 miles away and drove it there for me to see.

Dave

Siggy, Was it the one with Blue leather interior and 130000 miles, if so i have printed that one off and had it on my hit list, sounds like you got a bargain.

Thats the one
Major svc and clutch in Jan full svc history and all old MOTs.
Fresh 12 months MOT.
I could not fault it at the time apart from the drivers door window frame needs realigning. and he pointed out a couple of minor problems with it, ie front fogs not working.

When I asked for a road test, he just passed me the keys and jumped into the passenger seat.

It was the first and only one I looked at. Can't belive how lucky I am finding it

Dave

Siggy sounds like you did good could you find me one now !!, thanks Nessie but i am dead set on a metalic one, plus my last one was red, still looks a great buy for somebody though.

If you find one near to me (Wakefield/Leeds) and want some one to take a look at it, just send me a PM

Dave

Thanks Siggy i will bear that in mind, who said all Porsche owners are up their own!!. Still no sign of a good late coupe in Metallic, i keep searching the Trader, Pistonheads, 911Uk, Exchange and Mart, has any one else got any more possible sites or leads which may bear fruit. Thanks Paul

Gmund Cars in Yorkshire usually have one or two nice ones. Also Paul Stephens in Suffolk appears on Pistonheads once a week or so.

Thanks to Richard and Twinny, i have looked at 911virgin and will try Gmund, although Yorkshire is a fair distance from me. Thanks Paul.

Thanks for the photos Nessie , almost phoned to view today but did a 8 hour round trip to Cornwall to see a G plated Baltic Blue coupe, bodywork and overall condition not very good but i can sort that, what worries me though is fact that when u remove the oil filler cap even when warm it stalls and my limited mechanicl knowledge tells me this may be serious or do any of u people know different i would really welcome any thoughts, thanks Paul

Thanks Phil, wrong colour and no g50 box, i am detrmined to find one that has at least one of my chosen criteria, thanks anyway.
