3.2 values

Dear All,

I am thinking about selling my 3.2 Supersport. However, it has RSR bumpers on it and different wheels at present. The car has low mileage and is in good condition. What's peoples opinions on how I should sell it. I have the original bumpers and Fuchs wheels. I was wondering if it might be worth more in original spec??? Also, I've looked at recent magazines and particularly in GT Purely Porsche, 3.2s seem to have taken a nose dive price wise. They used to be around 12-14k but now seem to be more like 10-12k. Am I right or not?? Anyone know how Supersport prices are holding up?? If I don't sell it I'll keep it but with a baby due in a week I'm thinking she might not be used or cared for as well in the coming months. Any comments appreciated. Cheers

I've definately seen a decline in 3.2 values.. There also seems to be tons of them on the market.
Maybe it's a 'winter approaching' thing?

3.2's aren't my area of knowledge - I'm more into the earlier cars - but the principle is roughly the same I suppose - an 'original' car should always be more desirable and be easier to sell for better money - so if possible return the car to original.

BUT the RSR spoiler and wheels are wonderful mods that make the cars look very good - in my personal opinion. You may find someone who's looking for a candidate to backdate? There is a lot of interest in Impact Bumpers for these cars and DDK for backdating to early car look (but with the benefit of galvanised shell etc.).

I'd advertise it as is - but explain clearly that you have the parts to put back to original - then you've got the best of both worlds [;)]

I had mine valued by the PCGB and even with the modified engine and 118000 on the clock they came back at £20000 and Carole Nash agreed value at £23000.[:)]
