Hermitage Hotel, Montreuil sur Mer, France

We are planning to stay 2 nights at the hotel, and the cost per couple for dinner, bed and breakfast is 348€ (approx £302). Dinner consists of a 3 course meal in a private room and includes wine. The Eurotunnel crossing price is currently £94. You can, of course, book to cross the Channel by ferry if you prefer. A private parking area is provided by the hotel.

We have indicated to the hotel that we would require 10 rooms for our group, but we obviously need to ascertain if there is any interest amongst our Register members before proceeding. Please would you contact us as soon as possible if you would like to join the 2014 WOTY.

R20 were at the Hermitage Hotel, Montreuil sur Mer, France about 4 weeks ago.

Wee can recommend a great restaurant called Froggy's, food was superb, but it's very popular and you will probably need to book.

Steve, I see you are in Enfield, I lived in Bush Hill Park for 17 years before moving to Whetstone about 4 years ago.

Do you go to any of the R20 events, the ACE or Fat Boys, etc.

If not we should plan to meet up anyway

Cheers Chris

It's a great place isn't it, Chris? We stayed at The Hermitage Hotel last year on the way home from the Loire, and decided then it would be ideal for a WOTY. We didn't know at that time that we would be organising it for the 3.2 Register!

We've been to the Ace a couple of times in the past, but not recently. It would be good to meet up sometime, especially at a 3.2 Register event. The disadvantage of arranging a Register meet is that because members are spread all over the country, it can sometimes be difficult for them to commit. We had our first WOTY this year and feedback was very positive so, hopefully, more and more members will be keen to join our events as time goes on.

Hello Steve and Sue
We would be interested to join you all at Montreuil.
We have been there a couple of time before, is this the place with the Michelin Star chef just inside the walls of the old city?
Lets us know when you want us to confirm and pay deposit etc.
Best regards
ALAN and Beryl Mendelson

It will be great to have you along, Alan and Beryl, we have added your names to the list.

We need a minimum of 10 rooms to be booked to take advantage of the group rates. Once we have enough people expressing a desire to join the trip, we will contact those people with a special code and request that they use it to book direct with the hotel.

If any one would like to join the trip as a single traveller, the hotel cost will be 284€ (approx £246) for 2 nights dinner, bed and breakfast.

We now have enough interest to proceed with this trip, so if you fancy joining, please contact us for booking details asap.

The hotel has advised that they have good availability for our dates, so we are not restricted to 10 rooms.

If you would like to join the trip, please contact us for further details.

Twelve cars now booked, three spaces left, so don't delay if you were thinking about joining us .......

Hello All
Time is ticking away very quickly and it will soon be time for the WOTY.
We are all ready. The car has a new MOT, front brake calliper seals changed, new brake fluid and a few minor repairs.
Only need to give her (the car not my wife) a final wash and we are ready.
Looking forward to meeting you all.
ALAN and Beryl

Hi Alan,

Have been going through the same process with the car, and the MoT is booked for tomorrow.

There will be a choice of activities while we are away. We will be emailing some details next week.

Looking forward to the WOTY too.

Would love to have come, but that same weekend R20 are off to Luxembourg, have fun folks [8D].

Regards
