3.2 WOTY

Dear 3.2 Register Members

Please ignore the STOP PRESS announcement appearing in our column of November PP; the hotel we had provisionally booked for the WOTY has been cancelled due to car parking issues, so both the venue and date of our WOTY has now changed.

We have found another Yorkshire hotel that ticks all the boxes. It is obviously very popular because the only date they could offer us in April or May was Friday 24th April to Sunday 26th April 2015. The BB rate for double occupancy is £120 per night, £85 for single occupancy. They have offered us 3 nights for the price of 2, so if you decide to stay on the Sunday night as well, you won't have to pay for your accommodation!

The hotel has a restaurant where we will all be dining together on Friday and Saturday evenings. They will be putting together special 3 course menus for us nearer the time. We don't have a figure for this at the moment (the person who can provide it is currently on leave), but their standard menu prices are very reasonable so we are guessing it will be in the region of £25-£30 per head, excluding drinks.

In order to avoid tax implications for the club, members will need to make their own reservations direct with the hotel. There are 20 rooms in the main building and 8 in the annexe. We will, on this occasion, be sharing our WOTY with R21 because they too wanted to visit Yorkshire for their WOTY, and we thought it would be great if PCGB could perhaps take over the hotel.

If you are interested in joining us, please email us (see below) for the hotel details as soon as possible. Rooms will be sold on a 'first come, first served' basis, so don't delay!

At this stage, the WOTY is only open to 3.2 Register/R21 members. However, if members from other Registers or Regions would like to come, let us know and we will keep you on a reserve list.

Hello Steve and Sue and Register Members
If any one is planning attending the WOTY in April next year please note that there are only a few rooms left in the hotel plus the 6 rooms in the annex.
Beryl and I have booked in, we hope that there is a fair split of numbers with Region 21 members.
Best regards to every one
ALAN
