3 October - Cornbury House Auto Jumble

Those at last weekend's Monthly Meeting will know I was planning on driving across to Cornbury House on Sunday 3 October for the Open Day and Auto Jumble. Plan to leave from the McDonalds on the A43 west of Towcester (i.e. Silverstone side) at about 8.30 am to catch the bargains[;)], if anyone wants to tag along on a similar route.

I have a plea from the orgainers (Ken Coad) for more stalls to be rented - £12 a go I understand. Is there enough interest in the Region to nab a table and share the cost? Let me know asap. (I know there is the half-yearly Husbourne Crawley one this Saturday, but that might whet your appetite to sell those odd items in the garage....).

Mike,

I might be tempted to have a drive over there with you. I've got a couple of Cup 3 7.5Jx18" (ex-Boxster/996) wheels with new tyres (Yokohama) which I wouldn't mind getting rid off. They are pukka Porsche wheels and worth a few bob but I'd rather keep them than let them go for next to nothing. I've also got a few switches and an original steering wheel so I could be convinced to partake in a share of a stall.

What do you think???

Best regards

If we can get a few more members with bits to sell it will be worth getting a Table booked. Let's see how we go over the next week.

Don't forget this Sunday.

Apparently Ken Coad has arranged for Bob Watson to be there with a couple of cars, possibly a few traders too?
