3 point rear seat belts

Hi, this is my first post so hope I'm in the right place! I have recently bought a 1985 3.2 Carrera and want to convert the rear seat belts to 3-point for my kids car seats. I was at the Yorkshire Porsche Festival at the weekend and I met a gentleman who had done this but I am now struggling to find the best place to buy the belt kit. The one I saw came with a plastic insert for the belt to sit in that fit into panel behind the rear seats. Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks.

Hi there,
I have also done this modification to replace the lap belts. From what i remember i had to replace the rear parcel self this gives added height for the inertia reel belts and of coarse order two belts which bolt in under the shelf and feed through two plastic apertures that are built into the self. The bolt holes were already there to fix the belts in which i was relieved about.I did this for my sons benefit but he is now at 14 years old 6ft 2 and sits in the front passenger seat so don't think about it too long.

Hi

I aslo did this mod when my 2 girls were young and bought the mod from http://www.quickfitsbs.com/ and must say was very impressed . You use the standard lap belt but they supply a separate shoulder belt that bolt on to the standard fixing that is on the rear parcel shelf ( under the carpet on my Cab ) and slips through the buckle as you clunk click .... one 3 bolt harness .

Regards

Ian
