3 spoke steering wheel

Ive tried to post this in the wanted section but seems to be locked. I am after a 3 spoke steering wheel for my 2003 c4s doesn't matter if it needs recovering. I want it to fit flappy paddles many thanks.

The link worked for me, but it was a manual steering wheel, and it sold a few minutes after Jules posted the link. I think you'll need a Tip wheel (for the wiring).

Thanks Richard I want to do away with the tip buttons. I've purchased the amg paddles which I'll fit then get the wheel recovered.

Am looking to do exactly the same: buy a 3-spoke wheel (without buttons) and ask Edition9 to add paddles. I'll then keep my OE one in case I sell car and the new owner worries about its originality..!

Would therefore be grateful if anyone can answer the following:

- will a Boxster (986.1) 3-spoke wheel fit my 996.2 boss and airbag module (I have the the 'stitched' Turbo centre)?

- is a non-Tip wheel more of an issue to convert to paddles than one with the buttons already (Pieman you may already know this)?

Also Pieman, how easy was it to get the AMG paddles and is there any particular variant to get?

Many thanks in advance for your help :)

I can't upload pics from my iPad if you pm me at s.d.williams@hotmail .com I'll forward pics put the paddles in yesterday to another thre spoke I bought without the standard tip buttons. Also am having it covered as we speak. My trimmer friend is going to do the whole wheel aperture from the air bag but he can do that also.
