30th May Blyton Park Induction Day

If you are new to driving your pride and joy on a track, this is a perfect day for you.
Richard and Gavin of R4 have been organising this for the past 3 years.

Sessions last about 13 mins and newbies will have an instructor alongside for each session thoughout the day. The instructors are all fully qualified and will advise on speeds, how to approach bends, where to brake and anything else that will help you drive better.

The circuit is an old airfield so is quite flat and the circuit is well marked out using cones where necessary. If you do get it wrong the worst you can do is clip a traffic cone.
On arrival you'll be placed into a group of 6, of roughly the same experience and similar performance cars.
When your session starts cars enter the circuit with a delay of 10 secs or more so as to stop any bunching up and negating the need for overtaking. Leaving you to focus on the track ahead.

Those with more experience will have open pit lane sessions of the same duration. (13 mins).
For those who've been previous years the track is being enlarged by a 1/2 mile loop.

Economical!! well the cheapest you'll see this year.
Full and Half Day available at £100 and £70 for PCGB Members. Maximum entries = 35 cars.

Blyton Park is approximately five miles North of Gainsborough in Lincolnshire.
Do NOT put the post code into a sat-nav. You will get lost!!! Use these coordinates instead:

North 53° 26"² 49"³ - West 0° 40"² 49"³

If you would like to go, let Gavin Marshall know,

I've been there and done the circuit...[:)]
Not only was it a great trip to get to the circuit, I found the circuit to be challenging and needing a calm skill to be quick on.
Silverstone it isn't, which I think is a bonus as the track is safer and much more social.

As titled, it really is a great induction circuit..
