Hi Brian,
Didn't actually meet up with the Scottish contingent. Did you take advantage of the Porsche Hospitality Package? If you didn't, then you should. It's great value.
This is the 9th consecutive trip that I've organised, and each year our party visit the circuits of Chimay and Spa Francorchamps en route. We generally set off on the Wednesday and enjoy an evening in France on the way. Good hotels & excellent food. Stayed at a hotel in a nearby town on Friday & Saturday nights, and their Annual Wine Festival was in full swing.....Heaven
Cheers,
Alan

Hello again Brian,

Forgot to answer the second part of your question! Yes we did the Nordschleife as we do each year, but I have to say that it was busier than I've ever seen before, and with consideralbly more accidents.

Cheers,

Alan

Hi Alan

Yes we did have hospitality tickets and I have to say as Scots we nearly drunk the bar dry.We stayed a bit away in Cockham, but was excellent value and only cost about 135euros pp for a 3 night stay inc food .The ferry is a fortune sailing from Rosyth it is £245 pp return . I agree the track was busy ,we called into Spa on the way back but it was a bit of a rush and only made the ferry home with 5 mins to spare.possibly touch base with you if we plan a trip next year .

Cheers
