I had a flyer stuck on my screen at Ragley - Dates are 1-4 May 08 at Aalborg, Denmark for the 33rd International Porsche 356 Meeting.
The Flyer list events and also gives www.porsche356.dk as place to look for more info.

Perhaps you wont be intersted when you firnd out what the costs are - Other years has been an arm and two legs!

Yes I do think it's expensive but hey it attracts that type of people..

Anyway it's great to see such commitment from the 356 world to turn up.. I just wounder how many cars extra would turn up with a price that is alittle cheaper. but hey ho.. still good to see cars from all over the Eurolands

Just out of interest, how much is it?
I can't read Danish ( [:D] ), but it doesn't seem to have a price on the link anyway.

i had a lot of trouble reading any of it as the information is just scanned in from a brouchure and the print is very small.. when i zoomed in it just became too blurred to read. []

couldn't see a price mentioned though[:-]

don't think the price is too bad as they usually stay in very good quality hotels and theres usually quite a lot of extra bits, bobs and goodies included in the ticket price.
would have loved to have done spain this year [8D]

Does that mean if this was less expnsive it would be better attended? And what type of person would then attend? - Yes it has been expensive for many years - no price on the flyer for this one. I know its been a gripe for many years among some of the 356 people who would like to attend but dont want to spend silly money on a three day event.

Its been advertised in Porsche Post for many months now - We leave next Saturday 22/9 and return on 2/10. Approx 2000 miles Austria Germany etc Look out for next years trip (if they have one) sorry this ones fully booked!

I forget the web site but the 356 forum in Euroland is in German I think anyway they pointed me in the direction of a translator web site and it's great it translate the whole site in the English!! it's great.

I know it's expensive, and can be a bit disappointing at times, but the cars that attend just aren't seen anywhere else.
When going to these events I usually spend a few extra days visiting other places nearby or on the way.
Makes a holiday out of it.[:)]

Hi All

See my article in Porsche Post.

The event may seem expensive but you do get a lot for your money, and as is the case with almost everything these days you only get what you pay for.

The 356 International is usually fully subscribed, and supported by some great characters and of course cars. The organisers are under the hammer as they have to think of new ideas and types of locations to keep the interest up, this unfortunately does mean that this comes at a cost.
As mentioned before a lot of participants add a few days to the event to make it more cost effective, especially if the event ( for the Brits) is a long haul event.

Just to show how much Mary and I enjoy these events we have booked to go to Denmark and the following weekend to the Porsche Parade in Sardinia by 356 (mad or what?)(answers on a postcard!)
Start saving (you can`t take it with you)

Have fun

Hi All
We have just had an email to say that details will be released shortly. I will post on here asap, I would suggest that you contact the ferry people asap as I believe spaces are filling up as we post!

Have fun

Ferry Booked (so i'm commited now) had a small problem as they wanted a registration number for the car which as yet i haven't got [:-]

Ferry only goes 2 or 3 times a week, so i'll have a couple of days extra at the end, was thinking about driving down to sardinia for the Porsche parade.[:-]
